Jarvis This album took me by surprise. There's a lot to digest in one go, the music touches on many styles all in one neat package. "Funkmaster" stands out to me as I derive a great deal of joy from Jake's funkier tracks. That said, I didn't skip a track, everything was fantastic in its own right. The track titles are a bit long and you may notice some references to other media thrown in, but it keeps everything interesting. Overall, it's different, but enjoyable. Favorite track: Funkmaster Buckminster and the Amazing Percussive Clavalier Flotilla.

Amdusias A collection of old Virt tracks, some of which are pretty clearly trolling, but at least one totally SHREDDING version of an FX3 track. Favorite track: Choppastyle.
Sergio Cornaga

about

FULL RESOLUTION ALBUM ART / LINER NOTES:
biglionmusic.com/kwakfest_album_art.zip

Kwakfest is a "speed composing party" in which participants are given 60 minutes (and an optional theme) to write a song in standard MIDI format from start to finish. When time is up, we all listen to the results and have a blast.

These are some of my best Kwakfest entries, in album form. Other than rendering them through a nice synthesizer (Yamaha Motif XS) the compositions were left completely unaltered; every note of every song is exactly as it was written and played within that one hour.

Originally released in 2008, Kwakfest is now available for the first time on Bandcamp, and includes downloadable FULL RESOLUTION album art (three-fold liner note card, disc, and tray art, link can be found above!) so you can print your own labels! Or you can just look at it!!
